Here's how it works! Loose lines are tied from your dock to your Floathouse. Any substantial weights such as heavy well covers are generally used for anchoring. Simply attach a plastic bottle as a marker to the end of the chain when hauling out your boat for the season. Your boat is moored directly to the Floathouse (mooring collars are provided) and you enter/exit through a side door. Tunnelo's patented flotation system acts as fenders for your boat and allows a typical 200 pound Floathouse to adjust to changing water levels. Using loose lines, your dock, boat and Floathouse all move in unison with the waves.

Designed and engineered to withstand ALL types of weather, the frame can simply be left on land and the cover stored away for the season. If using the cover, snow must be periodically brushed off during winter and NOT be allowed to accumulate on the roof of the FLOATHOUSE.  An extender kit #EX28 is available at a cost of $600 and causes any of our existing models to sit 18 inches higher on the water)
